got told i was a cubone. fine. whatever. then the partner picks YOU and suddenly im tearing up at a gba screen because a charmander believes in me. the dungeons get repetitive by the postgame and the hunger mechanic is annoying as hell but the story beat where you get banished still hits like a truck 20 years later
