the game runs like hot garbage. koraidon clipping through rocks, frame drops in the city, npcs teleporting around during tera raids. whatever. the story with arven and his dog got me. i was NOT expecting to be emotional about a pokemon game in 2022 but here we are. team star is fine, the professor stuff is actually good, and the final area hit harder than it had any right to. if you can stomach it looking like a ps2 game sometimes, worth it
