Spent 6 hours building a mun lander, forgot the ladder. Jeb is now a permanent moon resident waving at the camera while I cry. Built another one with the ladder. Forgot parachutes for the return stage. The physics doesn't care about your feelings and I respect that. Every successful mission feels earned because the previous 14 attempts ended in a fireball over the launchpad. Learning what asparagus staging is unlocked some kind of dormant engineering brain I didn't know I had. It does run like a wet sock once your station gets big enough, and the stock UI for maneuver nodes is a war crime. Get the mods. You'll know which ones when the time comes.
