That's why its the goat, the goat
So this game is technically final fantasy 6 in asia, but most of us in the west grew up knowing it as FF3 and honestly the name doesn't matter because it's incredible either way. The biggest thing that hooked me was the way they told the story through characters. Instead of one main hero you get like 14 of them and somehow the game makes you care about almost all. Terra, Celes, Sabin, Edgar and the list goes on, these characters have actual arcs. Kefka (Kafka?) is also one of the best villains in any RPG, full stop. The writing of the guy is genuinely unhinged and actually wins halfway through the game, which was insane to experience as a kid. Combat was fun and each character plays differently enough that you actually think about your party. If you've never played it, go fix that. It holds up completely and still beats most modern JRPGs on story alone.

Bad textures
Im not sure what others are on about. Because they are trying to be real to the original. Isnt this a remake? The textures is pretty bad if you ask me. Often time looking like ps2. Its a 60 dollar game and had no excuses to have such bad graphics. Story is good, pacing is a bit too slow at times I would say. Good game, just needs work.

Awesome game, shame they neglected the multiplayer
The multiplayer had so much potential but unfortunately Rockstar abandoned the game, still a great game nonetheless with an amazing single player campaign

Cool game, but ruined by hackers
This used to be a really fun game to play with friends, co op or competitive. However, EA stopped updating the anticheat years ago, so hackers are rampant. It's not just soft cheats like aimbot or wallhacks, they're staight up crashing the servers over and over again with their hacks, making the game completely unplayable

Missing p4g charm
It was good, but has many flaws. Often times characters felt like cardboards, or a loop recorder thats stuck. Royal fixed a lot, but when it came out was a bit pricy on PC. Overall ok game, its a good game to get new community members persona games. But for real OG stuff, go to og p3 and p4g

Even the dlcs are great. For the time this came out in, absolutely a masterpiece

if you're a first time player, go ahead but some of the mods is a must even when you start. Google or look at reddit what they suggest, heavily enhances xp

My bestie encouraged me to buy it while I was drunk. Literally the best drunk purchase I've ever made.
